Urinary Bladder Stones and its Ayruvedic Treatments

According to Ayurveda, vata-pitta predominated dosha$type causes them. The management given in Ayurveda is based on balancing three doshas, disintegrating the stones, and preventing the recurrence of the issue.
Ayurvedic Solutions for Urinary Stones:
Dietary Changes:
- Hydration: The patient should increase their fluid and water intake to encourage the passing of water containing dissolved stones.
- Avoid Oxalate-Rich Foods: Some vegetables, such as spinach, beets, and nuts, contain a lot of oxalates.
- Reducing Sodium Intake: This is administered with the hope of preventing or even eliminating the formation of the stated types of stones.
Useful Herbs:
- Punarnava (Boerhavia diffusa): It was established to possess diuretic properties, as it actively facilitates the passage of stones.
- Gokshura (Tribulus Terrestris): It helps relieve difficult bowel movements associated with the passage of bladder stones, as well as the accompanying pains.
- Varuna (Crataeva nurvala): Accompanies the breakdown of the stones and the sores.
